FAQs
Can I organise a private camp?
Yep! We run private camps as well as themed birthday parties for the adventurous. For grown-ups, we run our Wilderness Survival Camp - Adult Edition, for both private groups and corporates. Get in touch to find out more!
Where are the camps being held?
Alexandra Road - We will send the exact location to the WhatsApp chat group we'll create, closer to the date!
It will be accessible by car, and pick-up and drop-off will be from the same location unless otherwise specified.
What should my child bring/wear?
Expect your child to be spending a good chunk of time outdoors.
We recommend kids bring a comfortable backpack containing the following:
Please be sure that your child is dressed comfortably and in clothes you don't mind getting stained or dirty. Sneakers and high socks, or long pants are highly recommended.
What is the minimum and maximum camp size?
The minimum number of children required for the camp to run is 10 pax and is capped at 20 pax per camp.
What if the minimum pax is not met?
If the minimum pax is not met, you have the option of switching to another date or getting a full refund.
What if my child falls sick, can I get a refund?
If your child is unwell, please provide us with a copy of his/her MC. If it is within 14 days before camp, you can choose to get a full refund or postpone your camp to a different date that is within 6 months of the original booking date. If it is within 7 days before camp, you can get a 50% refund. If it is less than 7 days before camp, we are unable to give you a refund as it is too short a time to fill the slot with someone else. We run camps all through the year, with more dates available during the school holidays.
What is the ratio of instructor to child?
We have a max ratio of 1 instructor to 7 children. We keep the ratio small as we believe that each individual child is worth the time and we would like to effectively engage with each of them.
How vigorous are your activities? I’m concerned my child may not be ready for it.
As long as your child is able to carry his/her own backpack and walk without assistance, they will be able to participate in our activities. If you have specific concerns, please highlight them in the ‘additional notes’ section when signing your child up and we will be mindful of that during the camp. One of the reasons our ratio of instructor to child is small is so that we can watch out for, engage and inspire each individual child in their time with us.
What if it rains?
The camp will proceed regardless of the weather. There's lots of fun to be had in the rain! That having been said, in the event of lightning, the session will be held indoors until the weather clears.
